About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The "International Journal of Developmental and Educational Psychology” (INFAD Journal of Psychology - IJODAEP)" is an interdisciplinary publication open to external collaborations, both empirical and theoretical ones, in any of the different fields of Psychology.
The main objectives of INFAD Journal are to present research and scientific results on Psychology, Developmental Psychology and Education, so it is mainly aimed at psychologists, educators, pedagogues, health professionals and clinicians, all those whor work in the field of psychological science.
Two issues are published per year (semi-annual periodicity: May-November) in Open Access. The journal evaluates contents, all original ones, in Spanish, English, Portuguese, Italian and French, following the guidelines accepted by the scientific community. Moreover, this publication meets the usual criteria of the scientific publications with the greatest international impact.
Each scientific article is subjected to a rigorous review process by the double-blind evaluation method, according to the Open Journal System protocol and published under the licence system Creative Commons, on the basis of the modality “by-nc-nd”.
Peer Review Process
This journal uses double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process.
To facilitate this, authors need to ensure that their manuscripts are prepared in a way that does not give away their identity.
There will be at least two or more reviewers for the total number of articles in each edition.
Publication Frequency
Two issues are published per year (semi-annual periodicity).
Open Access Policy
This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.
This journal provides an open access to its content, based on the principle that offering the public a free access to research helps a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Anti-Plagiarism Policy
“International Journal of Develoopmental and Educational Psychology” (Revista INFAD de Psicología) declares its commitment to the respect and integrity of work already published. For this reason, plagiarism is strictly prohibited and texts that are identified as being plagiarized, or having fraudulent content, will be eliminated from the evaluation process.
For this purpose, INFAD Journal of Psychology makes an anti-plagiarism review of texts received through Crossref's Similarity Check service with iThenticate technology in order to guarantee its originality.
