Abstract

This article analyzes how since March 2020, following the COVID pandemic, about 90% of students have had to abandon school, replacing the educational model based on relationship and empathy, with distance learning solutions using different online media and platforms (Mascheroni et al, 2021). Distance teaching (DAD) first and integrated digital teaching (DID) after, have become, in fact, the only training methods that the teacher and student have arranged to guarantee the right to study. There were significant limitations and difficulties. Today, the transition to be made is clear: the education system must reach digitization “by choice”, using technological tools in a more aware and appropriate way.
