Application of quality of life-5 dimensions health questionnaire to elderly students at university
Main Article Content
Abstract
It is shown in this research the analysis of the results obtained in the European Quality of Life- 5 Dimensions (EQ-5D-5L VAS) health questionnaire developed by the EuroQol Group by the students of University Programs for the Elderly at University of Burgos. The computer tool used for the analysis has been Stata, version 12.
The study results show, always bearing in mind the limitations of the study by the sample size, men tend to assess their health with higher score than women. It also has been found that the score of the oldest students over their own health is worse than that of the youngest.
Overall, the results support the idea that the students of University Programs for the Elderly at University of Burgos present a profile of successful aging, away from the dreaded dependence, without serious health problems and high satisfaction levels of happiness.
