The study focused on analyzing the relationship between sexual roles and attitudes towards monogamy, since today, through socialchanges, theconcepts of couple relationships and infidelity have been distorted. A scale was applied to measure beliefs and cultural premises about monogamy, as well as the scale of historical-sociocultural premises of monogamy. The sample relationships were identified between the factors of sexual roles and attitudes towards monogamy that are explained on the basis of socio-cultural aspects and the age of the participants. We conclude that changes in current social dynamics are shaping practices in couple relationships that will require further study. consisted of 430 young adults aged between 17 and 25 years.
