Dificultades de lectoescritura en trastorno por déficit de atención e hiperactividad

Resumen

Las habilidades de lectoescritura aparecen como una de las dificultades más persistentes que presentan las personas con Trastorno por Déficit de Atención e Hiperactividad a lo largo de toda su escolarización. El objetivo de este estudio fue conocer la percepción de los padres sobre estos déficits. Participaron 46 familias de niños y adolescentes con TDAH. Los resultados indican que la mayoría de padres manifiestan problemas en las subáreas de lectura (especialmente en comprensión lectora) y escritura (formato y contenido) que influyen en su rendimiento académico. Estos datos avalan la importancia de trabajar la lectoescritura en todas las etapas educativas.
