Perception of children of rural and urban contexts about separation and divorce
Main Article Content
Abstract
This work has two objectives: on the one hand, to analyze what perception and assessment do children of rural and urban contexts on separation and / or divorce of parents and their effects on children and, secondly, to know if there are differences depending on the environment to which it belongs.
To this end, an investigation was carried out with 460 children from rural and urban contexts between the ages of 7 and 17 who were studying at the Primary and Secondary levels. For this work we will focus exclusively on the analysis of the residence variable in rural or urban contexts.
The results indicate that significantly, those who reside in urban contexts make a more negative assessment of divorce compared to those who reside in rural contexts, while those in rural contexts consider that there are more negative effects on children.
