“Mindfulness”: revisión sobre su estado de arte

Resumen

A lo largo de los últimos años han proliferado los trabajos de investigación sobre Mindfulness que vienen a validar la eficacia de esta técnica en distintas áreas de conocimiento científico como la medicina o la psicología. En este trabajo se revisan algunos de los más destacados hallazgos realizados en este campo, prestando especial atención a sus nuevos enfoques metodológicos que fundamentalmente vienen de la mano de la neurobiología cognitiva y su posible transferencia a contextos terapéuticos específicos. Destacar al respecto las aportaciones concretas realizadas en el campo del envejecimiento y mecanismos inmunitarios
