Learning to Stop. Mindfulness as a wellness technique.

Abstract
Mindfulness improve levels of Full Awareness, it can be a useful technique to improve the health of Primary Care professionals. Design: Quasi experimental study in Primary care center of a rural area in Almeria. It shows a total of 34 primary care workers, 20 of them participated in a 4-hour Mindfulness workshop, in two sessions. Main Measurements: Workshop satisfaction, Mindfulness awareness, Full awareness level through FFMQ (Five Facets of Mindfulness Questionnaire) Results: we found significant differences in the theoretical knowledge after the workshop, satisfaction levels were very high. Conclusions: Mindfulness activities even of short duration have a positive effect on the Primary Care professional being important to introduce them within the training time.
